Message from Chabad
Chabad is open today serving bagels, coffee and salads throughout the day. A hot buffet dinner will be served from 4:30-8pm as well. Anyone who would like to charge their phones or electronics can go there as well.
Due to the overwhelming demand, our Shaimos trucks are filled to capacity. A trailer will be parked by Shor Yoshuv at approximately 2pm tomorrow afternoon and will be at the Agudah of Bayswater at 3pm tomorrow as well.
Assemblyman Phil Goldfeder has advised us that a strong percentage of Far Rockaway (40%) should be restored by this coming Thursday. this will very possibly apply to the Lawrence/Cedarhurst areas as well. As soon as we have a confirmation of this report, we will pass this on to the community.
There will be a full community wide detailed update posted later tonight with all the programs and services that will be available tomorrow Monday, November 5. Included in the update, will be a full update on the status of the community schools as well as complete details about FEMA claim registration.
